The thin 24K gold coating on this polycarbonate shield reflects radiant heat, as well as infrared and UV rays, to safeguard workers in high-heat environments such as steel mills and foundries. The visor features an adjustable lightweight headgear that adapts to a variety of head sizes. For longer life, the shield is treated with an abrasion-resistant coating. An adapter is available for use with hard hats. Meets ANSI standards.
